Torso

This is my first real foray into oil paints. I'e tried them before at art school, but never painted anything properly with them.
I recently bought some funky new water mixable oils, because the main reason I havn't used oils up untill now is because I don't like using solvents, and cant be bothered with the cleanup.

What I love about oils is that you can get a really nice soft blended effect with them because they don't dry for ages. (the downside is that they don't dry for ages.... I didn't like having to wait for 6 months before I could do anything with it)

I'm really happy with how this turned out. I'm keeping this one for myself.
